Alone in my screams

Looking away

I am wayward and wanting,

like a brittle stone,

I crumble in solitude,

I have grown accustomed to the quiet hum,

ever so humble by the vastness,

each tear that silently falls across my face,

washes away the sparks of hope,

Every moment  unclear and uncertain,

A gasp for air in the solitude of loneliness ,

In hopes to one day feel balanced and whole.
