Letters to winter

My sweetest snowflake
Falling from the sky,
Glimmering in the moonlit night,
Innocence crested at the top of your dew,
You blanket the ground ,
hugging the freezing lands, with your frigid embrace,
I miss you winter,
Deep chill I long for,
Seasons are long in the sweltering heat,
Lonely and lost I am in the sun,
I cry sweat desperate for you
I wish for skylines with naked trees,
The pleasant smell of rotting leaves,
Confessing my love through my freezing lungs,
Breathing out ice through clouds of you,
Cold and contemplative winters
I miss you.
