Pleading for cease fire

I don’t need luck to survive this war,
I’ve got freedom, its what were fighting for,
I cry silently at night in foxholes,
twenty feet wide,
I pray to Jesus to make it during the night,
The constant hum of bullets kissing the air,
Its raining napalm, pouring from the sky,
Clouds of blood, linger over the land
From forever boys, not even men,

Younger than morning, these sons of glory,
Mourning mothers left to weep,
Fathers silently devastated,

From sailor to soldier, airman and marine, history has claimed countless lives for the american dream.
