Spider lady

She weaves her web meticulously,
Serving as a home and hunting ground,
Spinning with devious intent,
Hauntingly she smiles, catching my dreams in her silky house of horrors,
Stalking my heart waiting for the right moment to strike,
Her fangs, lure her prey,
Her poison is lying,
She has so much to say,
Promising rainbows and moonbeams,
Reciting comfort in her arms,
Without any need for action,
She has memorized those beautiful words,
Mesmerizing garble, without meaning,
She seeks to destroy,
Cold and calculated bite marks,
Lined my soul,
Corroding at my self esteem,
Her venom deranged and caustic,
Acid like anguish,
For someone she said she loved.
